Overnight, Nintendo had their turn presenting their June showcase with the latest episode of their Nintendo Direct.
Coming in just under an hour long, the stream was jam packed with new reveals, release date announcements and plenty of new ports coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Never in a million years would I have expected the Nintendo Direct to be the place we’d see Kingdom Hearts IV again after 4 years. But I was so excited by what was shown. And it was Revealed that Kingdom Hearts IV is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and will be available day and date at launch! Now we just have to wait and learn when exactly that is.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Closing out the show and confirming the rumours were true was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Very little was shown for now, but it did show off a 2026 release year so I’m sure we won’t have to wait too much longer to see more of this remake of an absolute classic title.
There’s a tonne to look forward to coming this year for Nintendo Switch owners. Plenty of surprises and ports of great games that further highlight how well Nintendo’s hardware can stand alongside the other platforms. It’s a great time to be a Nintendo Switch 2 owner, that’s for sure.
