Over the PAX Australia 2018 weekend I was able to sit down and have a chat with Tim Willits the Studio Director at id Software.
In our chat we talk about his time in Australia, his favourite Bethesda game reveal as well as the development processes of Doom Eternal & Rage 2 and how the team decide what to develop next.
We jump into discussion about Rage 2 and Tim explains how Rage 2 delivers on the promise of Rage 1 now that the technology is there to help create their vision. And even though it is set 30 years after the original, it’s still a great jumping on point for those wanting to jump into it’s post-apocalyptic open world.
Check out the interview below:
I was also able to chat with Matt Firor, President of ZeniMax Online Studios and the Game Director of The Elder Scrolls Online at PAX. Check out the interview with Matt here.
