Earlier this morning, PlayStation aired their latest State of Play presentation. For those unaware, State of Play is Sony’s answer to the Nintendo Direct, a concise, pre-curated video providing updates on existing games and unveiling new game projects. And this morning’s episode has some great trailers and showed us why we should be excited for what’s to come from PlayStation and their third party partners.
Begining the show was a cryptic trailer for a new title called Humanity.
The human behaviour simulator is being developed by Enhance and THA Ltd. Coming 2020.
Infinity Ward presented a trailer revealing some of the game’s story mode. The game definitely looks very impressive technology wise. I’m glad the story campaign has made it’s way back into the Call of Duty franchise.
Katamari Damacy’s creator’s newest title Wattam got a colourful new trailer and release window announcement. The vibrant and cute game will be launching this December on PS4.
The debut game from Piccolo Studio states that it will offer a roller-coaster of emotions, and I definitely felt that while watching the reveal trailer. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this game as it looks like it could be something really special, offering up a powerful journey and gorgeous visuals and environments.
LA Noire: The VR Files is out on PSVR TODAY. L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files includes seven self-contained cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for virtual reality.
The announcement of LA Noire was followed by a VR montage that showed off the additional titles.
Soar through the skies in stunning PS VR sci-fi adventure Stardust Odyssey: Discover the story behind this newly announced title. Check out a lot more about the title over on the PlayStation Blog.
Gorn is a ludicrously violent VR gladiator simulator featuring a unique, fully physics-driven combat engine. It gives players the freedom to execute their most violent gladiatorial fantasies. It’s coming to PSVR later this year.
Arizona Sunshine creator returns with PS VR multiplayer shooter After The Fall. Set in a frozen, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, After The Fall pits you and up to three friends against unprecedented, huge waves of monstrous, undead creatures known as the Snowbreed. Coming to PSVR in 2020.
Ahead of it’s October 25th release date, from today you can download a free demo for the MediEvil remake. Best of all, those that do will unlock Dan’s Helmet, an item that can be used in the full game. But be quick, the demo is only available until October 6th.
The strategy sim is console-bound, and it’s bringing its expansions and online multiplayer with it. Coming to PS4 November 22nd.

The follow up game to the narrative masterpiece Oxenfree received a new trailer today providing a solid look at the premise of the game.
MLB The Show 19 will be making up one half of the games on offer in October. Also available to all subscribers is The Last Of Us: Remastered.
And finally, we knew it was coming and they saved the best til last.
Naughty Dog have revealed a new trailer that seems to set up what may be Ellie’s driving force for revenge in the upcoming sequel. The trailer is packed full of action, familiar characters and shows off a very dark and mature game. The trailer ended with the reveal that The Last Of Us: PArt 2 will be launching exclusively on PS4 on February 21st 2020.
