Steins;Gate Elite Is Coming West And It’s Coming To Nintendo Switch
Today Spike Chunsoft officially revealed via Twitter that Steins;Gate Elite will be making it’s way West when it releases later in 2018.
Steins; Gate Elite is an updated version of the 2009 game Steins;Gate, developed by 5pb and is fully animated. It uses footage from the anime adaptation of the original game, along with newly produced animation for story routes not included in the anime series produced by animation studio White Fox. The animation is played together with the script and voiced dialogue from the original game.
Steins;Gate Elite includes:
- Fully Animated Adventure – Indulge in all the beautiful animation from 24 episodes of the STEINS;GATE anime.
- A New Way to Time Leap – Experience the world of STEINS;GATE with this remastered, ultimate version that features newly animated sequences for certain endings.
- Branching Storylines – Every choice you make has its own consequence, shifting the world line closer or farther from reaching 1% divergence, providing a multitude of animated endings.
Possibly the best part of the announcement was the confirmation that the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch. Steins;Gate Elite will also be launching on PS4 and Steam later this year.
