Firewall: Zero Hour

Firewall Zero Hour is a 4V4 team-based, tactical multiplayer FPS coming exclusively to PlayStation VR in 2018.

Information is power and in the right or wrong hands, can change the course of the world simply with the push of a button. A well-timed release of sensitive data can bring the most powerful swiftly to their knees and crumble empires in an instant.

Last Guardian VR Demo

The Last Guardian VR Demo, a special virtual reality experience VR set in the unforgettable world of The Last Guardian: one filled with haunting ruins and breathtaking scale. Users will play from the perspective of the boy as he interacts with Trico.

The Last Guardian VR Demo is a short experience, and it is standalone; there are no larger versions of this project planned. But it is an amazing testament to the power of PS VR to immerse, and the breathtaking scale and character of the world of The Last Guardian. Also, it works with a DualShock 4 and does not require that you own copy of The Last Guardian on PS4. You will, though, need PS VR and the PlayStation camera to experience the demo.

Last Guardian VR Demo launches for free on December 12th.

Wipeout VR

In Wipeout VR you can race in every track, across every game mode, off or online, with this free PS VR update.
But not only that: we’ve created three new ships for PSVR pilots, featuring a special cockpit view for PS VR that includes head tracking, so you can check out the interiors of the new ships and see the futuristic racecourses like never before. And as you can now enjoy the game’s blistering soundscape in full 3D audio, this’ll be the most immersive Wipeout experience ever.

Wipeout VR is a free update coming early 2018 for Wipeout HD.

Following the trailers Sid and Shawn welcome Herman Hulst from Guerrilla Games to the stage. There he talks about the success of Horizon Zero Dawn and shipping frozen wilds in the same year. Revealing they didn’t start development until the week after Horizon shipped. He goes on to reinforce that single player games aren’t dead and that narrative driven experiences need to be single player.

God Of War Update

After some crowd cheers Cory Barlog from Santa Monica Studios is welcomed to the stage to talk about his upcoming title God Of War. The game is in the playtesting phase, with the total gampelay time in the 25-35 hour range. The new title is more narrative driven and the new direction and cinematic camera angle sold Sony Worldwide Studios on the new entry.

Cory provides some developer commentary over newest gameplay footage that debut at Paris Games Week. Revealing the Atreus talking during gameplay is called the banter system internally. They want the player to use their creativity and use the environment or use enemies to kill each other providing more flexibility to the player than ever before in A God Of War game.
Cory mentions that the ghoul at the end of the PGW trailer is known as the Revenant, beings possessed by magic and have lost all humanity.

Dreams Update

Siobhan Reddy From Media Molecule comes to the stage. Dreams is the next step in the play, create, share range from Media Molecule. Everything seen in the latest trailer was created in Dreams. Siobhan reveals that Dream’ story mode is 3 interwoven narrative known as Art’s Dream. There’s a Sci fi story, mystery film noir point and click adv and a child fantasy which is a horror spooky tale all woven together to make up the main story of Dreams.

Inside Dreams you have the ability to make the game you want. You can make a racer, Rpgs etc and is all about giving freedom to the creator. Target release date is 2018 with a Beta coming prior to launch announced at a later date.

Detroit: Become Human Update

Guillaume de Fondaumière from Quantic Dream comes to the stage for a crowd play of Detroit. He mentions that Detroit started as the Kara tech demo before David Cage and the team started fleshing out the game after crowd response to the tech demo. Each of the 3 stories have their own place in society and backstory and your critical decisions impact their fate and will change the story completely.

There is a crowd play of the first Connor hostage situation demo. You can watch gameplay of that below if you haven’t seen it.

Everything you do has a consequence. Decisions will impact the character’s fate and will majorly change the story. It’s the largest scope for any Quantic Dream game. Coming Spring 2018.

Donut County

Donut County is a game where you play as a hole in the ground. It still feels ridiculous to say it, because it shouldn’t have worked. You move around a tiny hole, you make stuff fall in, and the hole gets bigger. Often you have to wiggle things inside that are just a bit too big. Eventually you can demolish buildings, drain rivers, and star in your own adorable disaster movie.

Donut County launches in 2018.

Jupiter and Mars VR

Jupiter & Mars is a game set in a near-future Earth that displays one possible outcome originating from the excesses and abuses we inflict on the planet today. The game will release in Q2, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.

New trailer with a glimpse into the narrative and voice actors. Megaman crossover and soundtrack announced.

Back live Andrew House and Mark Cerny take the stage. Talking about Andrew House’s legacy and farewell. Before mentioning that there is someone else who want’s to come and talk. The 9 minute Death Stranding trailer that debut yesterday at the Game Awards plays.

 

 

Kojima Takes The Stage

Afterwards Hideo Kojima takes the stage wearing the shoulder light featured in the new trailer. Mark Cerny mentions that the trailer will make sense to everyone after playing the game for 4-5 hours. Kojima says the trailer is running real time on a ps4 pro and that the later half of trailer with Norman Reedus’ character Sam underwater is playable. The theme of Death Stranding is connections, and it started with the connection with Andy then Mark then Herman and rippled on into the final product for the fans. Which leads to the closing of the show.

Shawn Layden opens up his jacket to reveal a shirt displaying a graveyard and a Sir Daniel tombstone. That’s right Medievil is coming back. Not much is known now, but check out the trailer below.
