New Special Edition Dualshock 4 Wireless Controllers Revealed

This Morning Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia has announced three new special edition DualShock 4 controllers that will be joining the line up of existing controllers for the PS4. All three of the new models will be available from October here in Australia.

Leading the charge is the Blue Camouflage design which will be available from 12th October, just in time for those about to undergo new covert missions on PS4. It has a futuristic blue and black colour scheme and features a familiar silhouette pattern waiting to be discovered by the players.

Next up is Berry Blue, launching 23rd October. It’s perfect for those who like a powerful pop to their colours. Similar to the Sunset Orange special edition controller that was released in the past.

Last but not least is the captivating Copper controller, which will be available as part of a metallic range from 30th October

Each of the new controllers will have a recommended retail price of $99.95 in Australia. And will carry a recommended retail price of $64.95 for those of you in the United States.

PlayStation also announced that along with these three new controllers, previous special edition Dualshock 4’s will also be getting a re-release. These include the Gold, Silver and Steel Black which will release alongside the Copper controller and the Sunset Orange, which will be available again for a limited time on 18th September. So act fast.

So if you’re needing to pick up an extra Dualshock 4 controller hopefully these new models take your fancy. They are also launching prior to Christmas, so if there’s a gaming friend or family member in your life one of these could make the perfect stocking stuffer.
