Planned To Hit Screens In 2018
Announced at Jump Festa 18, an annual event held by Shonen Jump publisher Shueisha to showcase various anime and game titles was a new Dragon Ball movie. So far the movie has just been revealed to be a big celebration of the franchise, being the 20th Dragon Ball film.
No trailer or visuals were released but it has since been confirmed that the movie will be releasing in Japan sometime in December 2018. Plot details so far are scarce, but based on translations from the event it seems the overall plot will revolve around the origins of the Saiyan race and the secrets behind their incredible strength.
Series creator Akira Toriyama is back on board writing the script and creating character designs for the new movie as he did with Battle Of Gods, Resurrection F and currently with the Super series.
