Today Sega have announced that Catherine Classic is available now for PC as a digital download for $29.99 (AUD) on Steam.
Catherine Classic features the original game and puzzles you loved but it has now been fully optimised to run on PC

Catherine is a puzzle platformer game developed by Atlus originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. The story follows Vincent Brooks, a man who is beset by supernatural nightmares while torn between his feelings for longtime girlfriend Katherine and the similarly-named beauty Catherine. The story can take many paths: make the wrong choice and you could end up dead. At night, Vincent’s desperation results in terrifying nightmares in which he must climb his way up to survival, with various obstacles hindering his path.

The enhancements in this PC ‘Classic’ version of Catherine include:

  • 4K resolution
  • Unlocked framerate
  • Customisable keyboard and mouse controls
  • Optional Japanese Voice Over

Players who pick up the game within the first 2 weeks will also receive the following free digital deluxe content:

  • Desktop and Mobile wallpapers
  • Avatars
  • Soundtrack Samples

This is the first time Catherine has been available on the PC platform and it’s the perfect time to jump in and play it before the Catherine: Full Body Edition launches later this year. Currently Full Body is set to release on February 14th in Japan but no fixed date has been set as yet for the Western release.
