Introducing The Order Of The Ancients
Ubisoft have released a new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins titled ‘Order of the Ancients’. This trailer introduces what will likely be the main antagonistic force and catalyst for pushing Bayek through the story. It appears the Order of the Ancients are a sinister group that pulls the strings in this game’s version of Ancient Egypt and have connections with many high up people of importance with the trailer quoting “The Order of the Ancients, mysterious figures who seek the power of the ancient gods. Hidden and faceless they control the Pharoh from the Shadows”.
The trailer then proceeds to show us the varied gameplay modes that we’ll see in Origins as we see Bayek battling hand to hand, in gladiator arena’s, then at sea by ship. All topped off with a showdown with a charging Elephant. Anyone who has seen The Lord Of The Rings series knows how cool these battles could turn out to be.
